Scholarship Program

Under the scholarship sponsorship agreement signed in 2018, subsequently amended in 2023 with the education representative of Ras Ghareb Municipality, the scholarship coverage period has been extended to four years (from the originally agreed-upon three) and the scholarship amount has been increased to EGP 2,500 (from EGP 2,000). RGWE has granted scholarships to 12 students, including 5 recipients from the previous year; each student will receive EGP 2,500 per month for four years. After thorough evaluation, the committee — composed of the Director of the Educational Department, the Educational Department Scholarship Coordinator, and the CSR Officer — unanimously selected 7 new recipients for the academic year 2023–2024.

Development Community Association — Nursery Renovation

On 1 November 2023, RGWE played an active societal role in education and care for children in underserved areas. RGWE improved and developed the Happy Childhood Nursery within the Development Community Association — completely enhancing the classrooms, providing a suitable play area for children, installing an integrated fire system, and providing a room for women and assisting them in setting up a baking project. The development began in November and was completed in December, with the nursery expected to be furnished and prepared by March 2024.

El Shorouk Nursery Renovation

On 22 October, RGWE played a significant role in providing the best care for young children. RGWE developed Al-Shorouk Nursery after it had been warned to close due to a poor condition in the bathroom. RGWE renovated the bathroom and completely repainted the nursery, enabling it to receive children in a safer and cleaner environment. As a result, the nursery will continue to accommodate young children and avoid closure.

Abad Al-Rahman Nursery — Furniture and Comprehensive Fire System

Continuing RGWE's role in developing Abad Al-Rahman Nursery, RGWE furnished the nursery with the latest furniture and assisted in its installation by the site team. Additionally, RGWE installed a comprehensive fire-safety system within the nursery to create a secure environment for the children.
