RGWE Leadership Transition

At the end of April 2025, Ras Ghareb Wind Energy (RGWE) and Red Sea Wind Energy (RSWE) witnessed a major leadership transition. Mr. Anthony Watson concluded his tenure as Chief Executive Officer after four years of impactful leadership, during which RGWE maintained strong operations and RSWE advanced from development into construction. His efforts strengthened organisational capacity and enhanced performance across both companies.

From May 2025, Mr. Hans Bruins has officially taken over as CEO of RGWE and RSWE. With extensive experience in the renewable energy sector and first-hand involvement as Construction Director of both projects, Mr. Bruins is well-positioned to guide the companies into their next chapter. His leadership will focus on driving progress, including the development of the ambitious 900 MW Gulf of Suez III (GOS III) wind farm.

This transition marks an exciting new phase in strengthening the company's role as a leader in Egypt's renewable energy sector.

RGWE Supports Ras Ghareb Specialized Hospital

On 27 May 2025, Ras Ghareb Wind Energy delivered essential furniture to the newly renovated staff accommodation at Ras Ghareb Specialized Hospital.

The delivery included 30 beds, 30 wardrobes, 30 bedside tables, 5 dining tables, and 30 dining chairs. This contribution addresses a long-standing housing challenge and ensures that the hospital can continue to attract and retain highly qualified doctors and nurses. It reflects RGWE's commitment to improving healthcare services and supporting the local community.

RGWE — Eid Al-Adha Support

On 3 June 2025, Ras Ghareb Wind Energy (RGWE) and Red Sea Wind Energy (RSWE) distributed 520 kg of packaged meat to families in Ras Ghareb, including nearby Bedouin communities.

The distribution fully followed strict hygiene standards, ensuring safe handling of all meat products. All items were delivered in reusable green bags, reflecting the RGWE and RSWE commitment to social responsibility and environmental care.

This initiative positively impacted the community by supporting families in need and fostering local engagement, while celebrating the spirit of Eid Al-Adha.
