Renovation Work Begins at Port Primary School
On August 4th, RGWE began renovation work at Port Primary School in collaboration with RSWE. This school is crucial as it serves as the only educational institution for the port area, which currently suffers from a lack of essential services and proper facilities for quality education.
The renovation process started after the school was handed over by the Educational Buildings Authority to the contractor responsible for the project. The goal is to modernize the school's infrastructure, making it a more welcoming and efficient learning environment for the students.
The project involves several key upgrades, including roof treatment and insulation to protect against weather conditions, repainting the classrooms with high-grade materials, and completely overhauling the bathrooms to ensure a safe and hygienic space for the children. Progress is going smoothly, and the work is expected to be completed by October. Once finished, the renovated school will offer students a significantly improved learning environment, enhancing their overall educational experience and benefiting the community as a whole
